I’m very happy to announce to you that I have accepted the position of Web Coordinator of the Chicago Bulls. Being such a huge sports fanatic, it’s only fitting that I unite my career with sports. It’s not easy saying goodbye to my existing position with the The Ocean Agency. I have learned so much in the 3 years that I’ve been there and look forward to using my experiences onward in my career. Most importantly, it’s hard to say goodbye to the people I’ve worked with, grown with, and became close friends with. I wish you and the company all the best.

So from here on out, when you think of the Bulls, Michael Jordan, Derrick Rose, and Dickey Simpkins, you can add me to that list. I expect you to put on your coconut bra and grass skirt and dance with me and my superfans.

Steve…c’mon man! You can do better than this. Even Woz could draw something up if you asked him to.

A friend of mine sent me this link and I automatically thought of two things. First, why didn’t I think of this!? It seems that these idea driven blogs have taken over countless hours in the workfield. I guess the idea is to find something ironic or funny, just put together a compiled list, and watch the users fly in.

The second thing that comes to mind is…When are companies going to stop with the headset? I can understand if you truly are a call center company but there’s no way that people (mostly girls, judging from the great stock photography) put those giant cans over their ears.

So let us all enjoy the hilarity that is companies with headset hotties on their website.

RxSorbo is a project for a friend of mine. He wanted to integrate a new e-commerce system and layout for his Sorbothane Foot Insole company. Using Magento has been wonders for the company in receiving and processing orders. Their previous e-commerce had nowhere near the capabilities that Magento provides.

Judge Greg Mathis came to The Ocean Agency with a proposal of a redesign to his current website. His previous site was very outdated and in no way user-friendly for the judge to update. We are putting together an outlet for his fans to join a community and ask the Judge questions about his show, the law, or his advocacy campaigns for equal justice. The judge has made it clear that he wants a very strong online presence not only from his website, but with other social medias too such as Facebook and Twitter.

Times are busy, but good busy. I know I say this all the time, but I plan to write more on this website. I have many of things to say regarding some newer technologies that I’ve been reading about such as Bing, Magento, HTML5, and more jQuery plugins.  Thanks for checking out the site and I promise I will get more on this site soon.

Nuts on Clark is a chicago icon. However, they lack any kind of presence online to showcase their popularity. The owners came to The Ocean Agency to discuss a way to get more online business with a smooth process of receiving orders and shipping daily. Magento was hands down the unanimous decision in getting this done.
